    Wine is such fun, it's a shame that so many people find it intimidating. But where do you start? There just seems to be so much to learn, so many wines, so many different countries, different grapes and so on. And so many questions, "What is American oak?", "Why does this Chardonnay taste like pears and this one like vanilla?" and the classic "Will it go with the fish?" Part 1 of this course is designed for complete beginners. We will explain what wine is and how it is made. We will also explain how to taste wine and how to evaluate it in a fun and informal way. There will also be plenty of time for questions, the more questions the better!
