We run our bite-sized experiences in small groups of up to a maximum of 10 guests. By bringing like-minded guests together, we find your experience is enhanced. However, if you prefer a private tour, let us know and we can provide you with prices and availability.

My friend and I spent an enjoyable day with San Sebastian Food on a day trip to the Rioja region. We toured three different wineries and sampled their wine. At the second house we had a fabulous gourmet lunch with lots of wine. I really recommend this trip and San Sebastian Food.

From the charming B+B to the drives through the Basque region to Lesaka, the afternoon “hike” and the San Sebastian dinner, it was all blessedly free from tourists, tourist traps, mass produced anything, kitsch, tacky souvenirs, or anything that smacked of the inauthentic. Paddy and Jon made an excellent team of tour leaders, and their knowledge, interest and points of view complemented the other’s very well. Paddy’s local contacts and knowledge of the area got us access to some amazing places. The wine tasting course was also excellent, Jenny was really friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed an interesting afternoon of wine tasting, learning about the region, a bit about Spanish wine in general and also got to try out the nez du vin kit (all the aromatics associated with describing wine). Very good value and very well run. Loved it!
