I thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon - this was an excellent thing to do in San Sebastian and I'm so glad we found it. Very informative, as well as informal, this was just the right level for us. We learnt allot, and really got to explore Rioja wine, with our informative teacher Jenny - who also educated us about San Sebastian food and culture, which was a bonus. A gem of a place.

One of the best things we did in San Sebastian, our afternoon learning about (and drinking) Rioja with Jennie at San Sebastian Food was perfect. Jennie was friendly + very approachable answering stupid (or should I say uneducated wine questions) from us as well as being perfectly happy to speak about anything from the surrounding bars to Basque culture + heritage.

The wine tasting course was also excellent, Jenny was really friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed an interesting afternoon of wine tasting, learning about the region, a bit about Spanish wine in general and also got to try out the nez du vin kit (all the aromatics associated with describing wine). Very good value and very well run. Loved it!

We went to the rioja wine tasting on our short holiday in San Sebastian. It was a lovely and informative experience to add to our holiday. Jenny was really helpful and answered loads of questions about wine.

My wife and our two travel buddies came upon San Sebastian Food on our first day in the city. We were interested in learning more about Riojas and wow, did we find the right place to do so. Jenny conducted the tasting which involved a primer on the different classes of Rioja followed by the tasting of four wines of increasing quality. We all came away with an increased knowledge and appreciation of the wine.

We attended one of their Spanish Wine Tastings. Located at their office In the Old Town the tasting was excellent and I would recommend San Sebastian Food to anyone who is visiting.
